- It was ugly: sticker letter DIY jar seemed cute, but the novelty wore off quickly and it ended up hidden in a corner somewhere.
- It was made from glass so it was a trip to the hospital waiting to happen. Every time kids came over and were encouraged to use it, I cringed as they ran around the house fighting over who would hold it and unscrew the lid from the jar. I pictured a million pieces of broken glass and blood everywhere. Dramatic I know. So being OCD we decided to do something out about it and create something unique.
